The Ascension of Christ
How is the Risen Lord with us? The New Testament and Tradition offers a rich array of ‘Presences’. Christ is present in the neighbour in need, He is present in creation, He is present in the Eucharist, He is present in the Word proclaimed. Perhaps we do not always
feel His presence, we recall the words of St John Vianney, pointing to the Tabernacle he constantly tells his people; ‘He is there’. Yes the Lord is present in the Sacrament and  through the Holy Spirit He is present in His Word. We also have the hope that where he the ‘Head’ has gone we the body will follow to eternal life with Him.

Cemetery Devotions and Blessing of the Graves
Blessing of the Graves – St Seachnall’s Cemetery after 6pm Vigil Mass on Saturday the 6th of June
Blessing of Graves – Derrockstown Burial Garden after 12noon Mass on Sunday the 7th of June
Both Masses will be streamed on our parish facebookpage. Priests will bless graves without the presence of people after Mass. Private visits for prayers recommended. We ask all plot holders to make sure graves are tidy. Waste material especially plastic items should be taken home and disposed of in a eco friendly manner. Thank you.
